This Open Source site is designed to showcase the skills which I have mastered in Intro to Media Technology. This class was designed to give an overview of media technology and converge digital media. It teaches how media technology is used to create internet and television programming. This class introduces programs such as Photoshop used for photo editing. Avid express pro works with video and audio editing. Assignments are uploaded to an authorized web site such as Flickr, Blogger, and WordPress. WordPress combines the varied forms of digital media bringing them together as unified pieces to connect this Open Source website.
On my homepage you can view the assignments which I have created with the knowledge I acquired in this intro class. There are four pages on this site. “About” you can learn a little more about who I am. “Ask an Expert” here you can learn how to create you very own slide show and upload it to your WordPress, Myspace, or Flickr site. “Tip and Tools” highlights my digital life, websites I view daily, devices I use to access media, places in Philadelphia used to get the best free wireless connection, and several web browsers which connect you to a world beyond what is right in front of you.
